Wooden Colour & Animal Slide Matching Game — Double-Sided Board

A self-contained wooden sliding puzzle with two matching themes in one frame. Four vertical columns are linked by a single channel across the top, so players have to plan which discs to slide out of the way first to recreate the pattern on their card.

How to play

1. Pick a challenge: Stand the board upright and choose one of the 18 double-sided cards—18 solid-colour dot patterns on one side and 18 animal-face patterns on the reverse.
2. Slide and rearrange: Move the round wooden discs up into the top horizontal track and down into the four columns until all three discs in each column match the card.
3. Play solo or together: Work through the 36 challenges at your own pace, take turns solving cards on one board, or pair two sets side by side for a head-to-head matching race.

Skills practised

• Visual Matching: check each column of three discs on the board against the colour or animal grid on the card.
• Problem Solving & Logic: work out which disc to slide into the top track first so blocked pieces can move into their target column.
• Hand–Eye Coordination: slide each wooden disc along the top channel and down into the intended slot.
