Maths Learning Kit — Number Cards & Counting Sticks
Fit numbers 1–10 into animal cards, count with sticks and practise wipe-clean sums in a compact tin. Includes English number words on double-sided cards.
Product details
Each double-sided card pairs a number-shaped space and animal pictures on the front with addition and subtraction prompts on the back. Use the sticks to count out an answer before writing it down.
Ways to play
- Fit and count: find the number piece that matches a card’s outline, fit it into place and count the pictured animals together.
- Make quantities visible: line up sticks beside a card to match its number, then add or take away sticks to explore a simple sum.
- Write, check and wipe: turn a card over, try the printed sums with the dry-erase marker, and use sticks to check the answers before erasing.
Skills practised
- Numbers & Math: connect numerals to quantities, count objects one by one and represent addition or subtraction with sticks.
- Visual Matching: compare numeral shapes and find the piece that matches the card’s outline.
- Fine Motor: position number pieces, arrange slim sticks and control the marker to write and erase.
